On June 2, 2026, chaos broke out at Khan Sir’s institute in Patna, with violence, stone-pelting, and clashes reported on the premises.

Patna Police arrested coaching director Roshan Anand and remanded him to judicial custody. The incident involved tearing posters, throwing stones, and attacking a security guard.

An FIR was subsequently registered against Faisal Khan — widely known as Khan Sir — on June 5 under charges of attempted murder and provisions of the Arms Act. Arrested guards confessed during interrogation that they had fired shots on direct orders from Khan.

Khan Sir’s legal team has denied all allegations and confirmed they will contest the case, filing an anticipatory bail plea in the Patna Civil Court. The incident has sent shockwaves through India’s competitive exam coaching industry, where rivalry between institutes has been intensifying.
